There are a few miscellaneous things that I will remember about this China trip…..
Michael ALWAYS knew where we were and which way we were heading. This is unusual and we both laughed about it……
The clothing styles of the women were varied and wondrous. Most were dressed normally, but some of the younger girls were dressed in hot pants, stockings (sometimes fishnet) and TALL shoes. Many of the shoes had straps galore, with one set even zipping up the back. Many of the women wore heels and we were amazed to see them navigate the rough streets and sidewalks in them.
One of the other fashions were to wear short (ankle length) stockings with dresses or shorts. I saw these on women of all ages.
There were umbrella’s everywhere….so that their skin wouldn’t get TOO dark.
Do you see anything wrong with these pictures…..
Here are a few photos from one of the tea shops that we went to…..
These are individual servings of tea. I guess it is the Chinese equivalent to the tea bag…… There are teas from every region and area of the country…..
You are obviously going to take back some wonderful memories from this trip, even tough you have decided against the move. I could do with finding a place like that which does what they do with tea, but with coffee.
ReplyDeleteObviously no H & S over there, what on earth was he doing?
